The Missing of a 15-Year-Old Boy-He Found Dead in Central Florida

There was a tragic conclusion to the search for a missing teenager. “A large sheriff’s office search party focused on the area to look for Jontae. Jontae’s body was found soon after, “a press release from the sheriff’s department stated.

The death of Jontae Haywood is being treated as a possible homicide by the sheriff’s office. He hadn’t been in contact with his family since Thursday morning, so they reported him missing first thing Friday morning.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office responded to N. Wall Street in Bushnell at around 1:20 a.m. on Friday after receiving a report of a missing 15-year-old. The body of Jontae Haywood, who had been shot earlier that day, was discovered later that day.

His distraught mother says that she had not seen or heard from her son since he left home the day before. She added that it was very unlike him and that she had to call for help since she was so concerned.

The murder of Haywood, according to the investigation, was an isolated act

It has been reported that Haywood attended Sumter Prep Academy in the past. His mother informed us that he had always wanted to be a musician. The Haywoods need your help delivering justice to their loved one, Haywood.

To share information with the investigation, please call the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office at (352) 793-2621. You can phone Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS to leave an anonymous tip (8477).
