CNN reported that Brittney Griner departed the Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, on Friday, eight days after her release from a Russian prison colony in a prisoner exchange.

Griner, a two-time Olympic gold winner and eight-time WNBA All-Star, departed Brooke Army Medical Center a week after arriving at Fort Sam Houston in Texas.
