Texas authorities arrest a woman suspected of shooting a father in metro Atlanta

A lady has been taken into custody on suspicion of shooting and killing a man in the metro Atlanta area while he was attempting to assist a buddy in changing a tyre.

Earlier today, Channel 2’s Justin Wilfon learned from the DeKalb County Police Department that Reginald McDonald’s murder suspect, Zarmaya Tyson, had been apprehended in Texas.

Arista Pittman, McDonald’s wife, said her husband went to the Columbia Mill Apartments on Flat Shoals Road on the morning of November 9 to help a young woman replace a tyre.

Pittman claimed that the young woman was like a stepdaughter to him because of a past relationship.

Pittman has nothing but praise for him. I can always count on his undying affection and commitment.

There was no one more important to him than his loved ones. A father’s affection for his children is unconditional. He’d go to great lengths for anyone.

After McDonald arrived, McDonald’s buddy told police that her ex-girlfriend. Tyson showed up shortly after. According to her, McDonald and Tyson then got into a fight.

She claimed to authorities that Tyson shot and killed her husband after he returned to changing the tyre. Pittman said that “he had nothing to do with their plight.”

“He went over to help the girl out, and that was all it took for someone to take his life.” McDonald’s family includes his wife and their 2-year-old son.
