Texas A&M Gives The All-Clear Following A Bomb Threat At Kyle Field

3:49 p.m. update: Texas A&M has given the all-clear for the bomb threat.

The original story: According to a university alert, Texas A&M University began evacuating parts of its campus on Thursday, October 13, after bomb threats against Kyle Field, the college’s football stadium.

At 2:07 p.m., Texas A&M issued an alert stating that all campus activities could resume as usual.

According to the sign, Kyle Field and Bright Football Complex activities have been cancelled until further notice. Campus police are using explosive detection K-9 units to sweep both facilities.

Kyle Field and the Bright Football Complex were evacuated at 1:25 p.m., according to the university.

The notice requests that people avoid the area.
