Tax-free Stimulus Check Up To $1400 Available By December 31

There is still time for some people to receive a stimulus check of up to $1,400 before the New Year begins.

According to The U.S. Sun, these payments result from the American Rescue Act that President Joe Biden signed into law right after taking over former President Trump. These payments do, however, come with certain conditions.

Those who received a stimulus check will receive plus-up payments based on their tax returns for 2019 or Social Security information.

But IRS.gov says to receive this payment, you’ve got to make less in 2020 than you did in 2019.

Also, people who used the non-filers tool to get a 2020 tax return must claim all dependents. Those with an income of $72,000 or less are eligible to file using the Free File Program.

To apply for the stimulus program, you will need to file your 2020 tax return, processed and issued by the IRS. You must have it done by December 31, 2021.
