According to Dallas police, a suspect in a hit-and-run collision earlier this month has been detained and charged.
The charges against 41-year-old Gilberto Salas Guerra include failing to stop and offer aid in the case of a significant bodily injury and failing to stop and administer aid in the event of bodily harm.

Dallas police responded to a hit-and-run collision on October 13 at about 7:40 p.m. in the 700 block of E. Kiest Boulevard and S. Marsalis Ave.

According to police, the suspect fled the area on foot while leaving their car behind. The victims were transported to the hospital, where it was said that they were in a critical state.
