South Houston Highway Shooting: There has been a recent incident of road rage in the Houston region, and an investigation is currently underway after it was alleged that a suspect shot at another driver at least seven times.

The incident reportedly took place at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday evening along Old Spanish Trail and SH-288, according to the investigators.

It was said that the victim was operating a white automobile, which was observed to have a number of gunshot holes in the window of the driver’s side.

The man allegedly pulled out a rifle and fired multiple shots at the driver of another vehicle, as reported by the police.

Investigation is underway after a suspect reportedly shot at another driver at least seven times in the latest case of road rage in the Houston area:

 

They broke through his door with a gun. Approximately seven bullets were fired at him through the windshield. Therefore, it is a stroke of good fortune that he was struck in the arm,” stated Lieutenant Salazer of the Houston Police Department.

Investigators say the person they think did the shooting ran away but was later caught after crashing his car on Bellfort and 288. There were many shell casings discovered at the location, according to the investigators.

The victim was sent to the hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, and it is anticipated that they will be fine.
