Single-Vehicle Accident In Lincoln County on US 321 Near NC 27
As per the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, a man has lost his life after being involved in a single-vehicle crash in Lincoln County on Tuesday afternoon. Around 4 p.m., something happened on US 321 close to NC 27.
According to troopers, the driver of a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo lost control of the car while it was heading south on US 321. Before coming to a stop on the driver’s side, the Aveo then veered off the right side of the road and overturned multiple times.

Michael Aaron Williams, the Aveo’s driver, 36, was airlifted to Charlotte’s Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. On Wednesday, his injuries caused his death.
According to troopers, an initial assessment suggests that speeding and irresponsible driving were factors in the crash.
