On Friday morning, authorities in the Harvard Park area of South Los Angeles discovered the body of a guy who had been shot inside a car. A guy in his twenties or thirties, only described as a “victim,” was found dead at the intersection of Harvard Boulevard and 69th Street at around 1:20 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
KTLA-TV Channel 5 footage showed a dark-colored SUV with a shot-out driver-side window as police sealed off the area. According to the police, the victim was shot by an unknown assailant while he was a passenger in the car.
No suspect information was available as of Friday afternoon. However, detectives are looking into the possibility of a gang connection.
