Seminole County Fire Department’s Fire Station 11 is prepared to begin a new chapter after serving the community for almost four decades from the City of Altamonte Springs municipal complex.
The station is shifting to a new location, which represents a considerable boost in its capabilities and infrastructure.
Modern Facility Designed With Firefighters’ Input
The new Fire Station 11 is located at 2721 S. Ronald Reagan Boulevard and spans an impressive 10,300 square feet. The structure, which cost $5.78 million to build, is modeled after Fire Station 29 on Aloma Avenue.
It goes one step further, however, by including further enhancements based on feedback from the firefighters themselves.
This method ensures that the station is not just cutting-edge but also suited to the unique needs and suggestions of those who will use it on a daily basis.

Community And Safety At The Forefront
Altamonte Springs has played an essential role in this transition. The city not only provided the property for the new station but also donated $2 million toward its development.

This substantial investment demonstrates the community’s dedication to providing a modern, roomy, and well-equipped facility for its firefighters.
The new facility is expected to improve the department’s ability to respond to emergencies quickly and effectively, especially given the community’s growing growth.
The new channel is set to go live on Friday, January 19, at 10 a.m. This event represents not just a shift in site but also a significant step forward in assuring the safety and well-being of the Altamonte Springs community.
