Roseland double murder victims include 13-year-old boys

The two 13-year-old boys who were shot and killed last week in Roseland have been identified.

The boys were named Michael Hence and Quentin Branch by the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

They were found in the 11400 block of South Calumet Avenue in Chicago on Thursday just before 7 a.m.

One boy was shot in the head, and the police said he was dead when they arrived.

The other boy was hit in the neck and chest, and police said he was pronounced dead at Comer Children’s Hospital.

No one was being held in jail.
