At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12 in the 4500 block of Polk Street, the suspect in question allegedly pulled out a weapon and demanded a 5-month-old pitbull mix from her owner.
The police say that as the suspect left the scene with the puppy, he pulled out a gun and pointed it at the dog’s owner, which stopped the chase.
At least nobody was hurt, that we know of. There has been no progress in finding or identifying the culprit.
