Hank’s Place, is a popular restaurant in Chadds Ford owned by Kathryn and Anthony Young. The restaurant is attempting to rebuild since Hurricane Ida’s floodwaters destroyed it.

Since April, after being forced to demolish Hank’s Place, the Youngs have served their tasty menu items from a grab-and-go food truck on Creek Road.
However, as of Oct. 1, the car had been closed without notice, with a sign directing people to join Hank’s Place in Kennett Square.
The couple intends to take a month-to-month lease at the former Kennett Steak and Mushroom Restaurant on Birch Street while their restaurant is rebuilt.
