The police in New York are looking into reports that a man abducted two youngsters from their home. It is with the intention of sexual exploitation after meeting one of the victims online.
New York State Police said that the suspect, a 19-year-old male, is originally from Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
He has been charged with two counts of abduction in the second degree, as well as rape, attempted rape, a criminal sexual act, sexual abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child.

On January 16, the suspect, who was 18 at the time, is said to have abducted the children from their home in Schenectady.
The New York State Police said the youngsters came back home safe and sound less than 12 hours after they were reported missing.

The defendant was taken into custody by New Jersey law enforcement on October 28; on Tuesday, he was extradited to Schenectady County.
The identity of the 19-year-old suspect has not been disclosed by authorities.
