Police Investigating Four Similar Robberies in Southwest Chicago

At least four armed robberies occurred on Sunday night on the Southwest Side in a radius of less than 2.5 miles and less than ten minutes, according to Chicago police’s investigation.

Four males in a white SUV held up the victims in all four robberies. They stepped out, brandished their firearms, and demanded their belongings. Between 5:30 and 5:40 p.m., there were armed robberies in the Brighton Park, Little Village, and Back of the Yards neighborhoods:

Armed robbers hit four times in less than 10 minutes on Chicago’s Southwest Side:

Two men were beaten by four thieves during a holdup in the 2300 block of West 42nd Place at around 5:30 p.m., despite the fact that the victims cooperated with the attackers’ demands. In excellent condition, the victims were brought to Mount Sinai Hospital.

Four thieves approached a man in the 3200 block of West 31st Street at approximately 5:35 p.m., robbing him before making off in a white SUV.

At about the same time, in the 3800 block of South Campbell Avenue, a woman was being held up by four robbers as she was making her way to her car. The bandits took off in a white SUV after she obeyed them.

Four thieves approached two guys in the 3900 block of South Kedzie Avenue at approximately 5:37 p.m. and demanded their belongings. After stealing the victims’ possessions, they made off in a white SUV.

If the four robberies are related, the police have not stated this. On Sunday night, nobody was under arrest. Investigators were looking into it.
