According to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office and Parker County Emergency Services District 1, all lanes of FM 5 at Annetta Centerpoint Road have been closed as a result of a significant railroad collision and a train derailment.
As a result of the 18-wheeler becoming stopped while crossing the train lines, it was struck by a Union Pacific train that was heading in the direction of Fort Worth, as stated by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

A collision between a locomotive and a semi-truck trailer may be seen in the video attached below.
DPS reported that the collision caused two train engines and seventeen train carriages to become derailed.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, there was a spill of diesel fuel and oil, however, the fire department and hazmat workers are now dispatched to the location, and there is no threat to the general public.
After suffering some minor injuries, the train conductor was transported to the Texas Health Hospital in Willow Park for treatment.
The DPS has stated that FM 5 is anticipated to be closed till midnight.
