A multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Christmas evening in Orange County resulted in injuries to seven people, one of whom was a young child.
The accident took place at approximately 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Routes 52 and County Route 17 in the Town of Crawford, which is located just east of Pine Bush. The police noted that there was a heavy fog cloud present at the time.

The collision appears to have caused significant damage to at least two automobiles, as shown in footage from News 12.
The seven people who were injured were taken to Saint Luke’s-Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh and Garnet Health Medical Center in Wallkill, according to the firefighters who responded to the scene. Concerning their situations, nothing is known.

After being closed for a significant amount of time after midnight, Route 52 has since reopened.
