Orange County Man Found Guilty in 55 Freeway Shooting of 6-Year-Old
An Orange County man, Marcuz Eriz, has been found guilty in a heart-wrenching case involving the fatal shooting of a 6-year-old boy on a Southern California freeway.
Aiden Leos, the young victim, was shot and killed while in the backseat of his mother’s car during a car-to-car confrontation on the 55 Freeway in Orange County.

Charges and Sentencing
Eriz was convicted of several charges, including murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and additional felony enhancements for causing great bodily injury and death with a firearm.
He now faces a maximum sentence of 40 years to life in state prison for his role in the tragic incident.

Eriz’s girlfriend, Wynne Lee, who was also involved in the case, is facing charges of being an accessory after the fact and having a concealed firearm in the vehicle.
