One of Atlanta’s Most Wanted Man Caught After Running for 2 Years

After almost two years on the run, one of Atlanta’s most wanted criminals has been captured.

Sayvon Tate was sought in connection with a shooting that occurred on November 12, 2020, at an apartment on Griffin Street NW near Magnolia Street NW in the Vine City area.

According to Atlanta police, a lady was grazed by a gunshot after Tate argued with another guy.

On Wednesday, a search warrant was executed at a DeKalb County address, where Tate was discovered.

He will be charged with aggravated assault and being a felon in possession of a handgun.

Tate is also on the most-wanted list of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for failing to register as a sexual offender and felony probation violation.
