One Man Critically Injured on Uptown Street Shooting, Suspect Detained By Police!
The Memphis Police Department has opened an investigation into a gunshot that has left one guy in serious condition.
At approximately 2:15 p.m., police were called to the area of Uptown Street and Mill Avenue in reference to a shooting.
At approx 2:15 pm, officers responded to a shooting in the 500 blk of Uptown Village Cir. A male victim was located and transported to ROH critical. One male is detained. Call 901-528-CASH w/tips. pic.twitter.com/N4iuLaMcmL

After the police came, they found one victim who had been shot and died at the scene. The male victim, who was found to be in severe condition, was sent to a hospital in the area.
