An early Friday morning collision on Highway 6 claimed the life of one individual.
The collision occurred on Highway 6 at milepost 12, approximately 12 miles east of Tillamook, at roughly 7:20 a.m. One individual has died in the crash involving an automobile and a semi-truck, according to the Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office.
There was a two-way closure on the route. Around 12:15 p.m., ODOT reopened the highway.
ODOT reports that no detours were implemented. It was requested of drivers to either choose another route or postpone their travel.
