A two-vehicle crash that occurred on Thursday morning near Globe resulted in the death of one person and the injury of two others.
The collision occurred on US 60 near milepost 242, roughly eight miles west of Globe, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
UPDATE: All lanes are now open on US 60 in both directions at mileposts 227 and 241.

DPS troopers inform Arizona’s family on the scene that a woman in one of the sedans involved is receiving critical care while the man who was driving it has passed away. In addition, the second sedan’s driver sustained injuries.
