In the Homan Square neighbourhood on Wednesday night, there was a shooting that left four persons injured.
According to police, the victims were fighting on the sidewalk in the 3600 block of West Flournoy Street, which is west of Central Park Avenue, at 8:33 p.m. on Tuesday when a familiar person approached and shot them all.

After receiving numerous gunshot wounds to his body, a 22-year-old male was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later passed away.

Three women were shot: one, age 21, was hit in the left shoulder, one, age 24, was grazed in the head, and one, age 31, was wounded in the right leg.
Everyone arrived to Mount Sinai Hospital in good health. Late on Wednesday, no one was in jail, and detectives from Area 4 are looking into the matter. According to sources, the shooting was probably domestic in origin.
