Omicron: A ‘very weird’ omicron variant symptom has appeared

According to the latest reports, a bizarre omicron variant symptom has appeared as COVID-19 continues to spread throughout the nation.

The “Today” program included an interview with Dr. John Torres, senior medical reporter for NBC News, who said that one of the most prevalent COVID-19 symptoms, loss of taste and smell, has not been seen among individuals with the omicron variation.

In contrast to this, “people are reporting night sweats, which is an extremely unusual symptom that they claim to be experiencing,” Torres said on the “Today” program.

Sleepless nights and night sweats have become one of the most prevalent omicron variations symptoms, including muscular pains, weariness, and scratchy throats.

Torres said that if you begin to feel unwell, you should presume you have COVID-19, whatever of the symptoms you are experiencing at the time.

Amir Khan, a physician with the National Health Service in the United Kingdom, informed the British publication The Sun that night sweats have become a COVID-19 symptom for the omicron strain of the virus as well.

Night sweats, according to Khan, were “the type of drenching night sweats where you may have to get up and change your clothing.”

According to Dr. Angelique Coetzee, the South African specialist who was the first to raise the alarm about the omicron coronavirus variant wave, the symptoms are typical “very, very light” compared to prior COVID-19 strains at the beginning of the omicron variant wave, according to Al Jazeera.
