Just days before important elections throughout the state, President Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama will visit Philadelphia on Saturday to support Pennsylvania Democrats.
The former president, Donald Trump’s previously arranged rally for Republican candidates at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Latrobe, Western Pennsylvania, will take place simultaneously with the visit, which was announced by the Democratic National Committee on Monday.
Biden and Obama’s Visit
The DNC made no further announcements about Biden and Obama’s visit other than that they will be in Philadelphia.
The current and previous presidents plan to support candidates in the U.S. elections for governor on November 8. U.S. Senate and a house that would be audible across the whole nation. (Their trips coincide with the Phillies’ World Series Game 7 that day.)

It’s also possible that Biden and Trump are setting up a future rematch of their 2020 presidential campaign. Regardless of who runs for president in 2024, Pennsylvania will once again be a crucial battleground state.
Democratic Lt. Governor John Fetterman is up against celebrity surgeon Mehmet Oz in the United States, while Attorney General Josh Shapiro is the Democratic contender for governor this year against Republican state Sen.
Control of the State’s Electoral Process
The outcome of the governor’s race might impact the state’s voting and abortion regulations as well as whether or not Mastriano, a well-known election sceptic, is given control of the state’s electoral process for the 2024 presidential election.
One of a select few U.S. Senate races that might determine chamber control and have a big impact on Biden’s programme and nominations is Pennsylvania.
Also, Pennsylvania has some of the most heatedly contested congressional races in the country. Democrats are fighting to keep their slim majority in the House through these races.
Although he hasn’t been as involved in other crucial races, Biden has been more active in Pennsylvania, a state he has long coveted for both political and personal reasons.
Fundraiser for Fetterman
In addition to talking with Vice President Kamala Harris at a Pennsylvania Democratic dinner in Philadelphia on Friday, he has already hosted a fundraiser for Fetterman.
Even though both Biden and Trump have very low approval ratings, they are both going to states where they have shown their political skills in the past.
Both Obama and Biden will visit Philadelphia, which is a key Democratic voting stronghold, as well as its neighbouring suburbs.
Trump will also go to Southwestern Pennsylvania, where he won both of his presidential campaigns by significant percentages.
Therefore, since Trump personally supported Oz, the result of that election may have been indicative of his influence as a kingmaker.
In early September, Trump held a rally in Wilkes-Barre in support of Oz and Mastriano.
