Newark Launches $1 Home Ownership Program

A new initiative in Newark starts this Monday, offering houses for just one dollar.

These houses were taken over by the city because their previous owners didn’t pay taxes or other debts.

To be eligible for this “Home Ownership Revitalization Program,” you need to have lived in Newark for at least five years, or be a resident forced to move because of rising living costs.
