A guy from New Berlin has been charged with ki!!ing a man from Texas whose body was found in Grafton. Miguel Aponte, who is 34 years old, was picked up in Milwaukee on September 26. Laeng Sanvongsay was found dead in a car near Grafton’s County Highway C in March. The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office was looking into his death.
A criminal complaint says that Aponte’s DNA was found in the car and matched a profile in a national collection of DNA profiles. Officials say that these results arrived on September 13. Aponte was picked up on September 26.
The lawsuit says that Aponte at first denied knowing the victim. However, after being shown a picture of the victim, Aponte later admitted that he and other people were with the victim the night of the m*rder but that he wasn’t there for the m*rder.
