Nelson County Sheriff’s Office Found Body in Burned Vehicle
The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office discovered a disturbing scene in the Gladstone area on Sunday morning.
After deputies were alerted at around 9 a.m., a burnt-out vehicle on Norwood Road at the intersection of Richmond Highway became the focus of an investigation.

Deputies Respond to Vehicle Fire at the Scene
Deputies arrived at the scene to find a car that had been substantially destroyed by fire. The flames had been quenched, but the embers remained smoldering as authorities assessed the situation.
The Sheriff, Mark Embrey, stated in a statement that a local fire department was called to the area as a precaution.
Unsettling Discover: Deceased Individual Found Inside
A terrifying discovery was made as deputies examined the burnt truck. Inside, an unresponsive person was discovered.
The deceased’s identification is unknown, and the body has been taken to the Richmond Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for further investigation.
