CHICAGO – (CBS) – Early Friday morning, a 25-year-old woman was seriously injured in a shooting near the Illinois Medical District.
Police reported that the woman was on the sidewalk in the 2300 block of West Roosevelt Road just before 2 a.m. when a man opened fire.
After receiving a leg shot, the woman was transported to a nearby hospital, where she is in critical condition.
There have been no arrests.
