A Rochester Institute of Technology student has died after being injured in a crash Tuesday near the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport.
Moments before 6:15 p.m., deputies were called to Scottsville Road near Airpark Drive in reference to a vehicle and motorcycle crash.
Witnesses stated that Ethan Sulik-Doty, 22, of Whiting, Vermont, was riding his motorbike quickly north on Scottsville Road when it collided with the passenger side of a van that was making a left turn into Airpark Drive.

Sulik-Doty was declared deceased at Strong Memorial Hospital by medical personnel.

Sulik-Doty has reportedly been enrolled at RIT since 2019 and is pursuing a master’s degree in electrical engineering.
