Millmont Man Suffers Serious Injuries In Old Turnpike Road Accident!
Tuesday afternoon, an old motorcycle rider who had been in an accident on Old Turnpike Road in West Buffalo Township with a farm tractor was flown by helicopter to Geisinger Medical Center.
As of Friday morning, Patrick D. O’Fallon, 80, of Millmont, was still very ill, a Geisinger representative said.
Milton state police report that around 11 a.m. on November 7, O’Fallon was driving east on a two-lane road while operating a Kawasaki Vulcan when he tried to pass multiple cars. A farm tractor that was attempting to turn left onto Shuck Road was struck by O’Falllon’s front left tire.

Trooper Kyle Phillips said that O’Fallon was then flung off the motorcycle and fell in the westbound lane. The tractor’s 16-year-old Mifflinburg lad driver escaped unharmed.
While emergency personnel cleared the area, Old Turnpike Road was closed for a number of hours.
