In the small town of McKees Rocks, a sobering incident unfolded on Tuesday night, drawing the attention of the Allegheny County Police. The events began to unravel at approximately 8:16 p.m. in the 700 block of Mary Street, a typically quiet neighborhood that was abruptly disturbed by the sound of gunfire.

Responding to the emergency calls, police officers arrived at the scene to discover a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim, who was hit once in the shoulder and again in the leg, was swiftly transported to a local hospital. Fortunately, his injuries, while serious, were not life-threatening.

In a prompt response to the shooting, the police launched an immediate investigation, which led them to a residence in the vicinity of the crime scene.

There, they apprehended a male suspect, believed to be connected to the shooting. As of now, the identity of the suspect remains undisclosed as the investigation continues. County police are investigating.
