Massachusetts is Facing Missing Issues at its Peak

According to NamUs, a clearinghouse for missing, unidentified, and unclaimed persons cases in the United States, more than 150 adults are currently missing in Massachusetts. Additionally, there are nearly one hundred missing children in Massachusetts, as reported by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. This organization was formed to raise awareness about all Massachusetts missing persons and to compile new, reliable data on their cases.

Most of the ‘missing’ are children

Most kidnapping attempts happen on the street while kids are out and about. Children under the age of eight are more likely to be accompanied by an adult, while children in school are more likely to walk alone or with friends. Contact the Massachusetts State Police if you have any leads on a missing person’s whereabouts.

In the year 2022, about one hundred children in Massachusetts vanished. MASS. – More children have gone missing in Massachusetts in recent years than have been found alive in the state’s history combined; 94 have vanished so far in 2022.

Mental illness, misunderstandings, misadventures, domestic violence, and becoming the victim of a crime are just a few of the many possible causes of disappearance. There is always a chance of damage when someone goes missing, but some populations are more in danger than others.
