Man Killed in Domestic Shooting Incident, South Memphis

A shooting that took place in South Memphis only a few hours before Thanksgiving Day resulted in the death of a guy who was known to the shooter.

Wednesday evening at around 7:50 p.m., officers from the Memphis Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at a residence located on Adolphus Avenue. At the site, the victim’s death was confirmed by medical personnel.

According to the police, there was a “domestic incident,” although the nature of the relationship between the victim and the shooter is now unknown.

According to reports, the shooter managed to get away before the police arrived.
