A man was stabbed to death Tuesday night near Market Street in San Francisco’s Castro District, according to police. There have been no arrests. It is looking into the person who was killed in the 2000 block of Market Street.
In a statement, police said that officers from the Mission District went to the scene at 8:26 p.m. after getting a report of a stabbing.
They found an adult man who may have been stabbed being treated by paramedics. At the hospital, the victim was later said to be dead.

The area is a busy strip of businesses, nightlife, and restaurants. Market Street, which runs through the area, is the main route for public transportation, including street cars. Police said that no one has been caught.
