Man Accused of Murder in deadly shooting in Harlem, According to Cops

On Monday, police said that a man from Manhattan had been arrested on suspicion of shooting and killing a 41-year-old man in Harlem the previous month.

Tomas Dunn, 22, was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with the September 30 incident.

According to the authorities, Dunn shot Saladeen Cochrane on West 144th Street, close to Malcolm X Boulevard and the Samuel Houses.

On Oct. 3, paramedics were called and the victim was declared dead at the hospital.

According to the court’s records, Dunn was not arraigned as of Monday morning.
