Has the Expansion of Maxicare Approved?
Currently, a split exists among legislators regarding whether or not Medicare should expand to cover dental, hearing, and vision care.
A decision has not yet been reached as of this writing.
The centrist Democrat Senator Joe Manchin told AS that the Medicare system must be stable before it can be expanded.
But, the progressive Party members disagreed.
Progressive Caucus Chair Pramila Jayapal said it was time for “FULL coverage.”
Medicare should cover your eyes, ears, and teeth. It’s that simple.
It’s time to finally expand Medicare and guarantee seniors FULL coverage.

Senate Budget Committee Chair Senator Bernie Sanders disagreed together with Jayapal.
According to him, the policy Americans want isn’t being implemented.
The expansion of Medicare to cover dental, hearing and vision is supported by 84% of the public and is one of the most important provisions in Build Back Better. It's what the American people want and, after waiting over 50 years, what they are going to get.

There is still hope that it will be permitted by officials.
