An increased reward has been offered to help find a missing girl in Texas. Two months after Lina Sadar Khil vanished from a playground, a total of $250,000 is being offered for information about her disappearance.
San Antonio CrimeStoppers will offer a “guaranteed $50,000 reward” for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the suspect in this specific case, according to the Blackchronicle report.
The Islamic Center of San Antonio is offering $200,000 for information leading to the girl’s safe return.
On Sunday, February 20, Lina’s family celebrated her 4th birthday. According to Pamela Allen, the family is observing her birthday and hoping that she will come home, the family spokesperson.
A donation of $80,000 was made to the Islamic Center before the weekend remembrance.
According to Lina’s father, the community’s support motivates him to keep going.
Lina went missing from the Villa Del Cabo apartment complex playground on December 20 when she was three years old. Soon after Lina was reported missing an Amber Alert was issued because it is believed that she is in grave or immediate danger.
Investigators have narrowed down 18 minutes when Lina was not spotted by individuals or seen on video.
Lina’s family arrived in the United States in 2019 and lives in San Antonio with a community of Afghan refugees.
Before she went missing, Lina Sadar Khil stood up to 4 feet tall and weighed 55 pounds. Her hair was tied in a ponytail, the length of her shoulder. The little girl was last seen wearing a black jacket, red dress, and black shoes.
