Liverpool Township Tragedy Husband Accused of Shooting Wife to Death

Christopher M. Morrison Sr., a 34-year-old from Liverpool Township, reportedly told a close friend that he shot his wife, Tiffany, in their home on Shadyside Avenue.

He allegedly moved her body to a shed outside, according to police documents.

Morrison is facing a murder charge for Tiffany’s death. He’s set for arraignment in Columbiana County Municipal Court today, and a preliminary hearing is expected next week.

The murder charge was filed on Thursday, and Morrison has been held without bond at the county jail since being taken into custody on Wednesday night. The prosecutor plans to request a $1.5 million bond during the hearing.

Sergeant Detective Robert Ramsey from Liverpool Township Police Department’s affidavit mentioned they responded to a report of a possible homicide at the Shadyside Road address.

The investigation revealed marital difficulties between Christopher and Tiffany Morrison, who were living together.

Authorities arrived at the residence after receiving the homicide report. Evidence of a shooting was found inside the house, and Tiffany Morrison’s remains were discovered in an outdoor shed on the property.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and the County Prosecutor’s Office were involved in processing the crime scene.

An autopsy conducted by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office determined Tiffany’s cause of death as a single gunshot wound.
