In CHICAGO – In the early hours of Thursday, a woman was attacked and robbed outside a gas station in the Lake View area.
A 37-year-old woman had her handbag and cash stolen from her as she walked away from a gas station in the 3500 block of North Halsted Street at around 3 a.m., according to Chicago police.
The woman sustained facial bruising and was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where her condition was reported as “fair.”
As of yet, no suspects have been taken into custody by the Area 3 detectives.
