Lake Man Deadly Struck By Pickup Truck While Riding Dirt Bike!
According to the Isabella County Sheriff’s Office, a man from Lake was killed on Wednesday morning after being struck by a pickup vehicle while riding a dirt bike.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were called to the 7000 Block of West Stevenson Lake Road in Coldwater Township at approximately 9:17 a.m. in response to a complaint of an accident.
Upon their arrival, Dylon Andras, 29, of Lake, was struck by the pickup truck when he was riding a dirt bike. When deputies got to the site, they discovered him deceased.
“During the investigation, it was determined that the victim and another person had been at a neighbors residence on dirt bikes,” the sheriff’s office said. “The resident that lived at the address where the bikes were driving around the house went to his pick-up truck as the two motorcycles left.”
The two dirt bikes were then pursued by a 54-year-old Lake guy driving a 2020 GMC pickup truck.
During the chase, “one of the motorcycles was struck by the pick-up which caused the fatality of the man on the motorcycle,” the sheriff’s office said.
