Both drivers and the two children in the Acura suffered serious injuries in the collision, and they were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance. Despite being severe, the children’s wounds do not pose a threat to their lives.
An extensive investigation of the incident is presently being carried out by the Lake County Sheriff’s Department. An open alcohol container found in the Chevrolet was discovered by investigators on the scene, which raised the possibility of driving under the influence.
The investigation team of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to reconstruct the sequence of events that resulted in this regrettable mishap.
