Lake County Agencies Receive State Funding for Community Projects
Funding has been granted to two community agencies in Lake County by the state through the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program.
$25,000 will be given to Project Hope for the Homeless and the Family Resource Center of Wickliffe. Additional funding will come from federal funds made possible by Title IV-A of the Social Security Act.
Officials claim that the program promotes workforce development and helps low-income families so that children can be cared for at their own or a relative’s home.
