Kelowna’s Street Market & Light Up Fest: Prepare for Temporary Road Closures Today
The downtown area of Kelowna is going to be decked out in merry Christmas lights and decorations on Saturday.
There will be some road closures for the annual winter market and Light Up celebrations, so homeowners should plan accordingly.
The tree lighting ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. and the event itself will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Water Street between Queensway and Doyle Avenue will be off-limits to cars starting at 5:30 am and will stay that way until around 8:30 pm. On the other hand, the Doyle Avenue and Queensway roundabouts will stay open all day.
