On Tuesday, JJ Watt and his wife Kealia Ohai Watt announced on social media that they had given birth to a boy they called Koa James Watt (October 25). Koa was born on October 23 over the weekend, according to the former Houston Texans star. He wrote, “Love and happiness have reached heights we never even knew existed”
In June, Watt and the former Houston Dash player made their first pregnancy announcement. The Chicago Red Stars forward and Arizona Cardinals defensive end wed in February 2020.
The sports community congratulated the couple upon hearing of his birth of Koa James Watt. The funny response from analyst Darren Rovell was, “With the first pick of the 2043 Draft, K.J. Watt, Defensive End, Wisconsin.” The infant boy was welcomed into the family by Watt’s brother, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker TJ Watt. He wrote, “Welcome to the family Koa!” The official Instagram accounts of the NFL and Arizona Cardinals also congratulated the player.
