Investigation Underway In Kershaw County After Man Shot In Leg In Morning

The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a gunshot that occurred in the morning. According to the officers, a guy was wounded in the leg.

According to investigators from Kershaw Community College, the incident took place on Wednesday, January 4, between the hours of 10 and 11 a.m., however, it was not reported until approximately 5:30 p.m.

According to the deputies, the shooting took place on or close to Highway 601 in Lugoff, South Carolina.

The individual who was shot in the leg is currently receiving medical treatment for an injury that is not considered to be life-threatening.

Additionally, it is thought that the shooting was not a random act, and the deputies do not believe that the general public is in any danger, according to the department.
