Investigation Underway After 15-Year-Old Tragically Shot In Roane County
The tragic demise of a 15-year-old teenager from Rockwood is currently under investigation by the Roane County Sheriff’s Office. This heartbreaking incident unfolded today involving a firearm at a residence located on Ramsey Lane.
In response to this critical situation, emergency personnel swiftly converged on a location near Pump House Road, adjacent to the West Roane County Fire Station. Their initial plan was to establish a landing zone for the Lifestar medical helicopter.
However, in a sudden and sorrowful turn of events, the need for the helicopter was negated as the young individual succumbed to their injuries. This prompted the medical examiner to arrive at the scene.
