July 6, a black day for the U.S. democracy when a mob tried to overturn the 2020 presidential election result.
During the course of this event, a Capitol Police officer was forced to shot down an unarmed army veteran Ashli Babbitt.
On the day of the Capitol Hill attack, trump supporters including Babbitt tried to barge in through a door. She was then shot down by a capitol hill officer on her right shoulder.
Now, almost 6 months after the attack, the unnamed officer has been exonerated after an internal inquiry.
Even earlier in April 2021, the Justice Department announced no charges to be brought against the officer as no evidence was found that proves whether he had violated any federal laws or not.
After the Jan. 6 incident, Officials examined the video footage posted on various social media outlets but could not find anything about him.
