How heated is the Travis County real estate market? Annually, the cost of a home increased.

Single-family homes in Travis County sold for an average of $489,375 in November. A USA TODAY Network analysis based on data from Realtor.com shows an increase of 16.1% compared to November 2020.

Over the course of a year, the number of homes sold decreased by 12.1%. In the month of November, there were 738 home sales in the entire county. There were just 840 sales of single-family homes in the same span of time in 2013.

Sales of condominiums and townhouses in November totaled $388,906. This reflects a 5.1% year-over-year growth. Travis County saw 219 homes sold, a decrease of 24.7% from the previous year.
