Highway Tragedy: 2 Lives Lost in Limestone County Plane Crash
A plane crash that occurred in Limestone County resulted in the deaths of two individuals, as stated by the Limestone County Sheriff Joshua McLaughlin and the Limestone County Coroner Mike West.
According to Chief Michael Carter of the Elkmont Volunteer Fire Department, workers are currently responding to the area where a plane has crashed in a cotton field on Highway 127 at the intersection of Witty Mill Road.

According to Carter, there were two passengers on board. It was approximately 11:57 a.m. on Monday when the collision took place near Elkmont, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
A notification has been sent to the Federal Aviation Administration, and they are currently responding. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the aircraft in question was a Beech E-95 with two engines.
